Psychiatric/Mental Health Sessions include:

• Initial Assessment and Evaluation– individualized assessment of current symptoms, problems, and possible causes to create a treatment plan tailored to the client’s needs. Review of all medications and related medical records brought by the client with additional labs and tests ordered as indicated or referrals made as needed. The treatment plan will focus on immediate improvement of symptoms as well as life-style management for overall wellbeing. 

• Follow up Medication Evaluation/Management- regularly scheduled sessions to monitor medication symptom management and provide medication information and education.

• Follow Up Mind-Body Therapyincludes one-on-one integrative therapies to manage stress and improve self-understanding and acceptance.

  • Emotional Clearing-clients are taught a powerful emotional clearing process that will help release accumulated emotional pain so that happiness and wellbeing can be experienced in the present.
  • Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy -clients are given tools to break away from negative thought patterns, thus preventing a  downward spiral into a depressed state. This approach is also effective in treating existing depression.
  • Mind-body therapies-clients learn specific practices from gentle yoga, meditation and/or breathing techniques to help them manage stress and enhance body-mind awareness.
  • Health and wellness coaching– clients are supported and guided to make healthier life-style choices that support their overall wellbeing based on Ayurveda, the evidence-based Science of Life that that dates back over 5000 years and is still true today.
